Description

The Council tendered for the provision of books and book processing services to support the school's library services. Schools accessing the Subscription packages are eligible for use of this Service. The Service is predominantly used by primary schools in Somerset. The Supplier selected from this Tender process will be required to provide the Council with its desired catalogue of books for purchase; these books are Serviced by the Supplier prior to delivery. Schools and libraries will additionally be able to purchase items directly from the Supplier when required. The Supplier will additionally make available to opportunity to the Council to purchase books on a sale or return basis for Events such as the reading conference.
