Description

Wellbeing and Resilience Service Lot 1 - Wellbeing and Resilience Service The service outlined in this specification will build upon the existing offer of floating support services and housing related support and provide short term outcome focussed services to vulnerable adults. Lot 2 - Mental Health and Autism As with mental health the need to support adults with autism remains a high priority in Wigan. Support services currently offered are limited and mainly focus on autistic adults with eligible needs. Late diagnosis often means that throughout a proportion of adulthood, adults remain undiagnosed and unsupported. A revised autism strategy encompasses the need to improve access to diagnosis and post diagnostic support, ensure services reflect local need, improved access to public services and that reasonable adjustments have been made and to encourage adults with autism to actively participate in community activity.
