Description

We are seeking to procure provision funded by the Adult Education Budget, which the Council receives from the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA)
The specific requirement is for:

• Engagement, enrolment activity and learning provision
• Pathway coordination

Non-regulated AEB adult learning courses in, for example:

• Learning, Wellbeing and Employment,
• ICT, ESOL,
• Functional Skills Maths and English

which progresses learners onto:

Regulated AEB adult learning courses up to and including Level 2 in Functional Skills English and Maths, ICT, ESOL, Employability, Youth Work and Conservation and Horticulture

It is envisaged that the provision will be delivered by one or more providers based in each area of the city. These providers will have the capability, capacity, experience and a track record of successful delivery of similar provision to a wide variety of learners within the specific context of the locality/ies for which they submit a response. This will include experience of delivering in a variety of community settings such as primary schools, libraries and community venues. It is essential that providers have credibility within the areas they propose to deliver.

Providers need to satisfy the accompanying PQQ to be accepted onto the Sheffield City Council Framework as a potential provider for the funding stream.

All potential providers must note that key performance indicators will be included in all contracts for AEB provision which are issued as a result of this procurement.

They will, as a minimum, include expectations in terms of learner retention, achievement, pass, and progression rates.

Only organisations that have the Matrix Standard for Information Advice & Guidance will be considered
