Future Opportunity Notice for the provision of the Integrated Primary and Community Urgent Care Service in Leicester City ("Leicester City Hubs")

Arden & GEM CSU is writing to the market to give prior warning of an anticipated procurement exercise on behalf of Leicester City CCG, to seek suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver Integrated Primary and Community Urgent Care Service in Leicester City ("Leicester City Hubs").

The purpose of this notice is to initiate market awareness and is not being used as a call for competition. This notice is intended to inform the market of an anticipated procurement process, being published in January / February 2017, for the Integrated Primary and Community Urgent Care Service in Leicester City.
The service will be expected to;
• Builds on Prime Minister's Challenge Fund model
• Provide Primary Care Hubs in four locations across the city
o Two Tier 1 sites (access to primary care) at Brandon St and Saffron St
o Two Tier 2 sites (with added ambulatory care focus), sites at Westcotes (from date to be published) and 1 other site within Leicester City from 01.10.17
• Incorporate face to face out of hours care and will take bookings of patients diverted from LRI Emergency Department
• Be a key interface with local practices as well as clinical navigation
• Contract will be based on block contract funding for specified levels of capacity and opening hours.

This service is anticipated to be commissioned via a procurement process designed under the Light Touch Regime allowance of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 advertised to all which is proportionate to the value and complexity of the service and contract.
