Description
Two elements of the work follow.
Medstead Parish Council (near Alton) Hampshire has an enclosed play area for younger children. The current play area surfacing is now sinking in many places due to poor initial installation and requires replacing in its entirety. Specification as follows:
i. Enclosed Play Area (approx 240sqm): - To remove and dispose of existing rubber mulch surfacing. Dig out and lay a sub base of compacted MOT type 1 to a minimum of 50mm. Lay new Tiger Mulch (colour to be confirmed).
Medstead Parish Council also has a separate adult gym equipment area and the matting is becoming worn and a trip hazard and requires the following work.
ii. Adult Gym Equipment:- To overlay existing grass matting with new rubber mats around each piece of equipment (six items) and extending the area currently covered to help avoid further erosion. Repair the worn soil levels using top soil and seed as required.
Price to include all labour and materials required to carry out the work. VAT (if applicable) to be quoted separately.
INSURANCE
The Contractor shall hold Employers Liability and Public Liability insurance to the cover of a minimum of £5,000,000. A copy of the insurance document must be lodged with the Clerk to the Council before any works commence.
