Description
Herefordshire Council is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for the purpose of establishing whether there are any organisations that are interested in providing a solar PV Carport.
Herefordshire declared a climate emergency in 2019 and as part of this is looking ways to reduce its carbon. Herefordshire Council as part of the net zero commitment are looking at investigating a solar car port on the North car park at their main offices Plough Lane, Hereford.
Herefordshire Council already has solar PV at the site and there is potential to increase this via solar car ports due to the large base load of the building and potential to utilise more for electric vehicle charging
