Dear Sirs,
You are invited to tender for the above titled project.
This is a two-phase project comprising the internal and external refurbishment of 36-38 Victoria Street for office use, and reconfiguration of the University Health Centre to accommodate new consultation and therapy rooms. Both buildings are located within the University of Sheffield's Broomhall campus. 36-38 Victoria Street is a Grade II listed Victorian era villa, located in Sheffield, S3 7QB; the University Health Centre is located at 53 Gell Street, Sheffield, S3 7QP . The proposed works are divided into two sections, as outlined below.
Section One: Works to 36-38 Victoria Street:-
•Replacement of missing/damaged roof slates, flashings, rainwater goods and re-point chimney stacks
•Internal refurbishment including redecoration, refurbishment of kitchen and sanitary accommodation
•Renewal of existing mechanical, electrical and plumbing and data installations
•Provision of new below ground data and fibre link between 36-38 Victoria Street and University Health Centre on Gell Street via a new service trench
•Accessibility improvements including new ramp, external entrance and accessible WC
•External refurbishment including redecoration and refurbishment of window frames, sashes and sills
•New external door sets and replacement timber roof light
Section two: Works to University Health Service, Gell Street:-
•Internal reconfiguration at First Floor level to provide additional therapy and consultation rooms
•Renewal of finishes to circulation spaces
•Replacement fire doors
•Associated alterations to services and the provision of additional AC units and WHBs
