The University of Birmingham wishes to enter into a contract for the service and maintenance of an FEI TALOS F200 STEM that will ensure that the relevant equipment is maintained and repaired to the highest quality standards. Accordingly the Employer is seeking competitive Tenders from suitably qualified contractors in response to this Invitation to Tender with a view to awarding a Contract to a single Contractor for the service and maintenance of the FEI TALOS F200 STEM.

The overriding purpose and objective of the Contract is that the successful Contractor will work with the College to maintain the highest possible standards of reliability by operating an effective service, maintenance inspection and repair service, with contractually binding performance levels in order to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.

Based on the expected activity and budget, an indicative range for the total contract value may be taken as £85K to £100K (exclusive of VAT) over a 3 years period. When evaluating cost, the quality of the overall bid and its constituent parts will be taken into consideration alongside the financial values.
