Description

Warwick District Council is seeking to appoint a single contractor to provide pre-construction services, including design, and to undertake refurbishment and extension works to Newbold Comyn and St Nicholas Park Leisure Centres. The pre-construction services would be subject to a Pre-Construction Services Agreement, and any subsequent contract for the construction work would be subject to a separate NEC3 ECC Option A contract. For the avoidance of doubt, this procurement exercise covers both the Pre-Construction Services Agreement as well as any subsequent construction contract, and, under this procurement exercise, only a tenderer who is awarded the Pre-Construction Services Agreement is eligible for being considered for the construction phase. The award of any construction contract is in accordance with the terms of the Pre-Construction Services Agreement and the outcomes delivered under it, and is always at the sole discretion of the Council.

The Council is issuing this Pre-Qualification Questionnaire PQQ to identify potential providers who may be invited to tender for the opportunity to provide this work. This PQQ sets out the information which is required by the Council in order to assess the suitability of Potential Providers in terms of their technical knowledge and experience, capability/capacity, organisational and financial standing to meet the requirement.

St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre consists of the refurbishment of the wet side facilities and changing rooms, a new build extension and associated external works. The new build facilities include, but are not limited to, a new reception, studios, changing facilities and fitness suite. Also included is the replacement and upgrade of the building services and pool filtration systems.
