Description

The Council invites quotations for the provision of Electoral Payroll Services on behalf of the Electoral Returning Officer (RO). The supplier will help to assist the RO with electoral payroll services for any election that takes place in the duration of the contract. There are scheduled borough-wide elections on 3 May 2024 (London Mayor and Greater London Assembly elections) and a Parliamentary Election to take place before January 2025. In addition, there may be un-scheduled elections that take place due to the resignation or death of an elected representative (a By-Election).
At a borough-wide election or referendum around 800 employees would require payment. At a ward by-election around 40 employees would require payment.

The contract is for 5 years with a break point at the end of year 3 should the council wish to terminate early.
