Description

Tenderers are invited to submit a bid for a licence(s) for the framework agreement for the Provision of Mobile Catering Services in Birmingham Parks (remaining pitches). Tenderers may submit for one, multiple or all of the available pitches. The framework agreement will be awarded to one supplier per pitch.

Prospective operators are invited to provide submission to provide ice-creams and hot/cold food only mobile food catering at the pitches. Each pitch will have an operating licence granted for a period of 4 years commencing 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2025. Apart from one pitch as detailed in the tender documents which will start later due to the Commonwealth Games.
Prospective operators must be registered with their Local Authority as a food business and will be expected to meet all Food Safety requirements as laid out in Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013 and the Food Information Regulations 2014.

It should also be noted that all mobile food operators MUST have a rating of 4 or 5 under the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, to be able to provide a submission.
Sub-licencing of the operating licences granted is expressly prohibited.
