Description

Sunderland City Council is seeking to appoint a Provider to deliver the Sunderland Healthy Workplace Service.

The Service aims to support workplaces to both protect the health and well-being of employees and optimise opportunities for employees to improve their own health and wellbeing.

The Provider will work in partnership with the Council and the provider of the North East BHAWA (currently Northern TUC) to create and develop workplaces, which will:

• Promote physical and mental health and wellbeing, reduce premature deaths and tackle health inequalities by identifying and working with a range of different businesses in Sunderland, with a focus on those with high levels of routine and manual workers.
• Promote prevention, early intervention and self-care.
• Create healthy workplace environments.
