Description
Highways England are proposing to put in place a new category management Pavement Delivery Framework that will provide supply and services for our Operations Directorate of Materials, Plant and Labour to carry out surfacing and pavement operations including:
bituminous and concrete repairs,
surface restoration techniques,
planing,
paving,
iron work adjustment and renewal,
Cold Applied Ultra-Thin Surfacing (CAUTS),
hydraulically bound mixtures,
in-situ and ex-situ recycling,
footway surfacing and asphalt kerbing.
temporary work,
provision of welfare facilities,
undertake Principal Contractor duties
The scope may also include emergency response.
Highways England intends to host an Industry Day on 29th June 2021. Further details will be issued to confirm how this event will take place. Given the current situation of social distancing, this is likely to take the form of a Microsoft Teams call.
