Description

Housing development wish to appoint a contractor to develop small infill sites around the town to provide social housing. The expectation is that these sites will constitute no more than three units on each plot, typically these will be family sized three or four bedroom houses, however this may change dependent on individual site constraints. The Council anticipates that it would be responsible for identifying sites for development and would do so by locating opportunities for infill development in and around its existing stock. The expectation is that this Framework Agreement would be for a maximum value of £1.95m, The number of sites that this would deliver would be dependent on the costs submitted by tenderers and the sites which come forwards for development. The expectation is that there will be only one supplier on the framework who will be directly called off as and when projects come forwards.
The agreement will remain in place for a maximum of four years or until such a time as the value attached to the Framework Agreement has been expended whichever is sooner. The Council provides no guarantee that sites will come forwards under the terms of this agreement.
The expectation is that tenderers will provide a build cost per square meter based off the Employers Requirements included within the tender documents and would be expected to sign up to the template JCT for each site it delivers.

Please note the deadline for returns and allow sufficient time to make your return as late returns will not be permitted.
