The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) wishes to procure for the benefit of Public Health Englandand the UK Devolved Administrations (Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland) Liquid Hygiene Products to bedistributed in the event of a Pandemic Influenza outbreak or any other health related emergency across the UK.NHS Supply Chain has been appointed to conduct this procurement under the Open procedure in accordancewith the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) (the 'Regulations'). These products form part of asuite of products for the treatment of patients within healthcare settings in the event of such a pandemic orhealth related emergency Influenza Pandemic. This procurement will be to award as a framework agreement.
The approximate volumes required in the DHL (or other nominated) depots during a Pandemic outbreak are asfollows:-
Lot 1 - Alcohol hand rub (350ml - 600ml) - overall volume required - 124 276 lt
Lot 2 - Liquid hand soap (800ml - 1200ml) - overall volume required 91 003 lt
Lot 3 - Concentrated detergent (sizes should be tendered for between 1 l tt o 5 lt) - overall volume required47 885 lt
Successful Applicants may be required to supply the Goods on a 'Just In Time' basis in the event of anInfluenza pandemic or any other health related emergency across the UK ("Pandemic")"
.This Framework Agreement is for a period of 48 months.
