Description

Craven District Council is looking to appoint a supplier to manage the end to end process for the following;

• Collection of the archive boxes from three sites in Skipton, North Yorkshire, ideally all archives will be cleared at the same time or within a short time frame
• Secure transportation of boxes from the three sites to the premises where the files will be scanned
• File preparation including removal of paper clips and staples
• Indexing of files in line with the indices specified on the boxes
• Secure, compliant storage of all of the boxes during the period of scanning
• Scanning of the files including Optical Character Recognition
• Provision of the scanned files back to Craven District Council via secure disc storage
• Secure and confidential destruction of the files post-digitisation following authorisation from Craven District Council
