Description
The London Borough of Merton ("the Council") is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Suppliers for the management and delivery of its Disabled Facilities Grant Funded Adaptations and Home Improvement Agency (HIA) service.
The successful Supplier will deliver disabled adaptations works for applicants approved by the Council for disabled adaptations to their homes. These works will be funded by the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG). The Supplier will be required to deliver a wide range of disabled adaptations services, consistent with the legislative and good practice guidance.
The Supplier will be required to have in place a system for contractor onboarding, selection and appointment to undertake works. The system is required to be flexible, enabling access to small local contractors, as well as ensuring a fair distribution of works assigned to the onboarded contractors. The system must demonstrate transparency, probity and provide auditable reports of equitable allocation of contractor works. Such systems may include an existing electronic Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) or use of a proprietary system, such as Constructiononline.
The proposed contract will be for an initial period of three years with the option to extend, for two further annual extensions resulting in a maximum contract term of five years
