Description
WMCA is seeking a single supplier to provide a high quality bike share scheme, with physical docking infrastructure with hybrid solutions, across the urban areas within each of the seven constituent authorities (Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton).
WMCA expects to procure a supplier through a competitive dialogue process to be commenced following a market consultation day to be held in WMCA Offices in Birmingham on Thursday 5th September 2019. The purpose of the market consultation day is for WMCA to discuss its proposals for the scheme with potential suppliers with a view to preparing the procurement and informing the market of its procurement plans and requirements. Following the market consultation day, WMCA expects to publish a contract notice in relation to the opportunity in September 2019 with a preferred supplier being awarded a contract by March 2020.
Further information and a detailed specification will be contained in the tender documentation once the procurement is formally advertised following the market consultation day. The procurement process is being conducted pursuant to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and will be awarded as a services contract.
