Description

The scope of the contract is for the delivery, installation, and commissioning of two chromatography systems (FPLC) for the purification of various recombinant proteins in both preparative and analytical scales to Newcastle University.
The systems need to be semi-autonomous so that experiments can be left to run unattended
The systems need to be easy to use but with the ability to run complicated programmed steps if needed
The systems must have relatively low maintenance requirements from the user
PCs to support the equipment should be included in the response
Cold cabinets to house the systems will be provided by the department
The supplier will provide free delivery and installation of the systems.
The supplier will provide training on the systems to all relevant staff, including for daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance.
