Description
Oxfordshire County Council is inviting tenders with the intention to put in place a contract for a Consultant Co-ordinator for the Domestic Abuse Lived Experience Group (LEAG (Lived Experience Advisory Group)).
The Lived Experience Coordinator will be required to ensure appropriate representation of people with lived experience of domestic abuse including children and young people. This will enable them to participate in co-production within an equal relationship between people who use services and people responsible for designing and delivering domestic abuse services in Oxfordshire. This means working together from design to delivery, sharing strategic decision making about policies as well as decisions about the best way to deliver services. The Co-ordinator will need to create diverse ways to ensure appropriate engagement for diverse groups, especially children and young people to ensure meaningful co-production.
For full details of the requirements, please refer to the full specification, attached to the Invitation to Tender as Appendix 1. The Invitation to Tender is published on the South East Business Portal accessible via the following URL: https://sebp.due-north.com/ and the project ID is DN695519.
The Council's budget is limited to £35,000 per annum for delivery of this service. For full details please refer to the specification (see link above to the tendering portal).
The Contract term is anticipated to be 36 months (3 years), with an option for the Council to extend the contract period by up to a further 24 months (2 years) in aggregate. The contract is anticipated to commence on 2 May 2024.
