The Council reserve the right to amend its intention according to the tender returns but intends to appoint a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 suppliers to the Framework.
As well as the requirements that have been set out in this tender for the September/October 2018 traffic surveys we are also including a framework contract. Further work that could be included in the framework contract are listed below:

• MCC (Manual Classified Counts)
• MCTC (Manual Classified Turning Counts)
• OD surveys (Origin and Destination survey)
• ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) surveys

The Framework Agreement will have a term of 3 years with possible extensions at the Council's discretion for up to a further 2 years and will enable the Council to procure high-quality, accurate Traffic Surveys throughout its duration.
Tenderers are advised however that any future traffic survey requirements are contingent on the Council's needs at any given time and, as such, the Council make no guarantee of any minimum volume of work as a result of this tender.
Tenderers are also advised that Council reserves the right to reduce the scope of the Framework or terminate the arrangements in accordance with the terms and conditions.
