Description

Mechanical and Condition Testing & Inspection of Licensed Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicles on behalf of the Borough Council of Wellingborough. Bidders must hold a valid and current DVSA certificate and the testing facilities must be situated no further than five (5) miles from the Borough boundary. The Council intend to issue contracts for testing and inspection to two separate contractors. This is to offer flexibility to the vehicle owners and help ensure service standards remain competitive. The initial contract period will be two years with the option to extend by up to a further 12 months at the sole discretion of the Council (a contract term of 2+1). The contract will commence 2nd November 2018. Interested parties should visit www.eastmidstenders.org from WEDNESDAY 4TH JULY to express their interest and access the tender documents. Responses must be submitted via this e-tender portal no later than 12:00 noon Tuesday 14th August 2018
