Description

Basildon & Brentwood Clinical Commissioning Group will shortly be going out to the market to procure providers for a number of services. The AQP model is an accreditation process underpinned by 'call-off' of a Provider's services determined according to patients' choice. Referrals into these services may come from secondary care, accident and emergency, walk in centres or GP practices.

The Services Required are the Following:

24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitoring Services
24 Hour Electrocardiogram Services
Shared Care Services
Minor Injuries Services
Secondary Care Wound Management Services
12 Lead ECG Services
Deep Vein Thrombosis Services
Direct Access Adult Hearing Services
Vasectomy Services

Providers that are interested in this opportunity are reminded that they will need to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), have appropriate Insurance Liability and can provide an appropriate Data Protection Policy. Additional policies related to specific services may be required.

It is anticipated that documentation relating to the opportunity to provide services as required for a period of three years will be available from Tuesday 15th November 2016. Successful providers need to be aware that they are expected to provide the contracted services for patients that present themselves rather than passing patients to secondary care, accident and emergency or other providers.

The total contract value of all nine services within this AQP procurement process is £2,520,000 over 4 years. The procurement of these services have been combined together for efficiency within a lite AQP process as no single provider will provide all services and will only be given a proportion of each of the services. A single contract will not exceed the Light Touch Regime threshold of £589,148, therefore, this opportunity has only been advertised on Contacts Finder.
