Description
Great Chart Primary School is situated in the heart of Singleton, Ashford, Kent. Ashford is a growth town, partly due to its easy access to Europe via the Channel Tunnel and the International Station. Whilst some children come from the village of Great Chart, most live in Singleton. The school is two-form entry and three-form entry in two year groups only, consisting of 16 classes and is presently oversubscribed. Great Chart Primary School's current school meals and catering contract expires at the end of this school year (2015) and in accordance with best procurement practice, EU and UK Procurement Directives and Regulations we are seeking a provider to operate the School Meals and catering requirements commencing September 2016. The procurement process adopted is based upon the 'Open' Procedure, as detailed in 'The Public Contract Regulations 2015'.
