Description
At the request of the Mansion House Trust, Newcastle City Council are carrying out a Market Sounding Exercise aimed at establishing market capability to deliver a managed service or strategic plan which can provide a significant and positive impact in further developing our current operational model for the Mansion House.
Whilst at this stage this is not an invitation for formal expressions of interest we are inviting Experienced Hospitality/Leisure trade companies to participate in a market sounding exercise.
The aim is to gain industry insight on what skills, capacity and knowledge are required to manage or strategically plan development options for the future operation of the Mansion House with a view to evolving the Mansion House offer to ensure its sustainability and further maximise income.
The ideas that come back from the Market Sounding exercise will allow us to shape and potentially initiate a European procurement exercise. This could be for the delivery of a Hospitality Service within the Mansion House, or for an alternative proposal; this will depend on what comes back from the market.
Newcastle City Council will be conducting Soft Market Testing at Mansion House in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne at 1pm on 4th September 2019. If you are interested in attending please confirm your attendance by contacting janine.lancaster@newcastle.gov.uk
