Description

South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) wish to employ suitably qualified organisations to undertake various studies to help with the creation of an Area Action Plan (AAP) for Shoreham Cement Works site. The work being commissioned will form part of the evidence base to support the production of the AAP being prepared by the SDNPA's Planning Service.

The SDNPA is preparing an Area Action Plan (AAP) for the site known as Shoreham Cement Works to support the strategic policy in the South Downs Local Plan - Pre-submission September 2017 (the South Downs Local Plan).

Planning officers at the SDNPA will undertake the master planning and production of the AAP for the site. Suitably qualified organisations are sought to help support this work through the production of various baseline data and evidence-based studies on the following:

1 Biodiversity
2 Geodiversity
3 Flood risk and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDs)
4 Ground Contamination and Water Quality
5 Building Condition, Safety and Demolition
6 Geotechnical issues

Each title has been allocated a lot and bidders are able to bid for one of more of these lots.
