Description

Tenders are invited to design and build a War Memorial using existing Memorial Stones for WWII and commissioning a complementary Memorial for WWI, plus supply and install of associated soft and hard landscaping, at the Memorial Gardens, Station Parade, Virginia Water, GU25 2AA.
The new Memorial area with Memorial Stones for WWII (existing) and WWI (new Memorial, commissioned as part of tender) must be open and ready for the Remembrance Day Services on Nov 11th 2018 to commemorate 100 years since WWI. It is anticipated that the area remains 'natural' and in keeping with the surrounding area, and may include hard landscaping to create quiet seating areas for reflection and contemplation fitting for a War Memorial.
