Description

BBV JV is seeking to appoint a specialist environmental consultancy to help it to meet certain construction environmental deliverables (CED) arising from compliance obligations connected to Environmental Minimum Requirements (EMR), contract requirements technical, environmental legislation and statutory undertakings & assurances (U&A). BBV JV is currently reviewing the construction and operational assessments to determine whether any additional CED will be required. This information will be available by the time the ITT is issued for this opportunity.

The scope of works will comprise:
• Support BBV JV to determine information and data requirements for CED;
• Carry out surveys to source CED data when appropriate;
• Review, interpret, model and assess CED data provided by BBV or others;
• Provide input to CED related construction design;
• Provide input to CED related environmental mitigation design;
• Assist BBV JV to obtain CED related permits, licenses and consents;
• Provide input to CED related method statements;
• Issue CED related reports including recommendations, where appropriate;
• Support BBV JV to determine and carry out CED related monitoring; and
• Provide seconded technical personnel to BBV JV when appropriate.

As well as providing environmental consultancy services to support the achievement of CED, the contractor will be required to support BBV JV by secondment of technical personnel where necessary and appropriate.
The package will be competitively tendered and assessed against a split between commercial (price) and non-commercial/technical criteria.
