Description

Plymouth City Council is looking to form a collaborative relationship with an organisation to deliver a high quality music event starting in 2018.

Our vision is to create a significant, high profile ticketed music event (or series of events) with UK and international artists that will create national and international exposure.

The Council is open to exploring a range contractual and operational models. This includes the Council providing the project management staff and operational delivery (staff) to ensure high quality, safe delivery of the event(s). Our highly experienced and qualified team have vast amounts of experience in the delivery of major international events including Olympic Torch Relay, MTV Crashes Plymouth, The America's Cup, The British Firework Championships, The Transat and National Armed Forces Day.

Plymouth City Council is keen to see an evolution and building of a brand starting with the first event in 2018 and fully establishing itself by 2020. In 2020 Plymouth will celebrate the 400 year sailing of the Mayflower to the United States. We see that a music event will be a key part of those global celebrations.

We are looking for an organisation that has strong relationships with agents, talent agencies, management companies or artists directly as well as a proven track record in delivering events in line with our vision.
