Anglia Ruskin University is seeking to identify and appoint a supplier for the provision of digital strategy, design and build to support our ambitions to transform the student and staff experience and to deliver a modern and progressive learning environment that is regarded as the equal of any digitally-led organisation outside of the Higher Education Sector. Our aim is to be recognised for providing a true student-led, digitally centric experience that positions Anglia Ruskin as a digital challenger/disruptor/innovator.

The selected Digital Service provider would be instrumental in helping shape our long term strategy and have the technical capabilities to assist in the delivery of the strategy over the course of the next few years.

It is expected that the Digital Service provider will be a full service agency with equal weighted capability across strategy, design and development. We encourage responses from agencies with particular experience in service design and rapid prototyping and who are familiar with implementing lean start-up, design sprint methods within large enterprise organisations.

The selected Digital Service provider will be required to work alongside and supplement our in-house development teams to deliver a range of digital (web/mobile) design and development requirements. We require support initially to supplement our internal development capacity and enable us to make enhancements and changes to our websites more frequently and respond to market changes more quickly. As this internal capability matures we would anticipate the agency contributing less to day-to-day digital development (BAU) and to have more of a focus on new projects, UX and web services development.
