Instead of: Electric motors, generators and transformers. The Authority has a requirement to provide a 10 year (5 year plus a 5 year option) Asset Availability as a Service (AAS) in support of Marine Rotating Electrical Machinery (MREM) for the following two Lots:
Lot 1: Surface Fleet and;
Lot 2: Submarine Fleet.
Bidders are invited to provide a Dynamic Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (DPQQ) for one or both Lots.
The requirement is to provide AAS contract(s) that will support the Fleet and provide the following capability for each Lot:
- Equipment and spares availability in respect of the Marine Rotating Electrical Machinery (MREM) Master Equipment's including:
- Trident low Stock (TLS) Availability;
- Repair of E0 stock;
- Obsolescence Management;
- Ensuring all ships demands are met within agreed availability/turn-around Targets (to include updating the Inventory Systems);
- Provision of an agreed out of hours Stores Issuing service (If stores held outside of Naval stores);
- Technical support to the Fleet for MREM Master Equipment's. To provide the following support:
- 24 Hour Technical Support Helpline;
- Investigation and resolution of operational defect reports;
- Investigation and resolution of S2022 defect reports;
- Maintenance and sundry ship queries;
- Provide Post Design Services;
- The contractor will also be responsible for the storage and availability of all the stock within their contract.

Electric motors, generators and transformers. The Authority has a requirement to provide a 10 year (5 year plus a 5 year option) Asset Availability as a Service (AAS) in support of Marine Rotating Electrical Machinery (MREM) for the following Single Lot:
Surface and Submarine Fleet.
The Authority reserves the right to separate the services required under the Contract into two discrete requirements by removing the entirety of the Submarine Fleet activities from the Contract and to novate these to a new contract ("the Submarine Contract") between the Contractor the Authority's Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA). Tenders are to note that should the Authority exercise the Option the Contract shall continue on the same terms and conditions and agree that upon Contract Award they have unequivocally accepted and are bound by the terms of the Option.
The requirement is to provide AAS contract(s) that will support the Fleet and provide the following capability:
