Description

Soft Market Testing Questionnaire for Catering Services to Merton Civic Centre.

The London Borough of Merton ("the Authority") is seeking to undertake a procurement exercise for provision of catering services in the Merton Civic Centre and possibly one other local site by a social enterprise and/or catering supplier. The type of provision to staff and corporate visitors is currently a range of hot and cold beverages and hot and cold meals, salad bar, toasted and cold sandwiches.

The Authority would like to discuss the provision of catering services to Merton civic centre by a catering provider and/or/in conjunction with a locally based social enterprise that gives employment opportunities to people in the borough with hidden and visible disabilities. These services are currently available to all staff within the Civic Centre between the hours of 8am to 3pm but there is scope for a later finish. There are a set of questions at the end of the document that we request responses to.

In addition to these kitchen/cafeteria-based services, refreshments are ordered and delivered to meetings during the day and in the evenings (when required) currently from Monday to Friday.
