Description

ViSOR is a UK-wide system used to store and share information and intelligence on individuals who have been identified as posing a risk of serious harm to the public. ViSOR facilitates the work of Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) by enabling co-operative working between the three "Responsible Authorities" (police, probation and prison services) in their joint management of individuals posing a risk. Monthly extracts are provided from ViSOR to the Scottish Government Health Directorate.

ViSOR is hosted and managed from the Home Office's site at Hendon, London. Regular preventative maintenance and software fixes of ViSOR are necessary onsite to ensure continued operation and this requires the services of a Software Analyst and a Database Designer & Administrator.

The Software Analyst and the Database Designer & Administrator are required to work at the most applicable Home Office site for 12 months, starting on 1st July 2018, as part of the Home Office's technical team.
