Description

EKFB are seeking expressions of interest, leading to tender and appointment for route wide landscaping / habitat creation works.

Works will be split between five geographical sections roughly in line with the following:

• NCA (North Chilterns Area)
Trees and Shrubs - 337,263 (over 3 planting seasons 2024 -2027)
Grass seeding - 13.2 Tonnes
Miscellaneous bulbs, plugs, ferns etc. - 769,629 no.

• AA (Aylesbury Area)
Trees and Shrubs 742,875 (over 3 planting seasons 2024 -2027)
Grass seeding - 10.6 Tonnes
Miscellaneous bulbs, plugs, ferns etc. - 1,296,568 no.

• Calvert (Calvert Area)
Trees and Shrubs 815,023 (over 3 planting seasons 2024 -2027)
Grass seeding - 4 Tonnes
Miscellaneous bulbs, plugs, ferns etc. - 378,654 no.

• T2G (Twyford to Greatworth)
Trees and Shrubs - 568,106 (over 3 planting seasons 2024 -2027)
Grass seeding - 16 Tonnes
Miscellaneous bulbs, plugs, ferns etc. - 679,591 no.

• G2S (Greatworth to Southam)
Trees and Shrubs 1,107,486 (over 3 planting seasons 2024 -2027)
Grass seeding -17.8 Tonnes
Miscellaneous bulbs, plugs, ferns etc. - 1,288,845 no.

Works will include planting and maintenance.

Maintenance requirements will be 2 years from installation

Trees and shrubs will be provided (FOC) by the subcontractor

Grass seed can be provided by the employer or subcontractor

In line with this, expressions are welcome from relevant companies, however initial selection criteria will review organisation size given the quantity and value of the works. We are looking to appoint contractors who have experience of managing similar packages of works with values in excess of £1m GBP. We therefor ask to consider carefully your own capability and capacity before expressing interest.
