Description

This provision is for the development of a multi-professional credential for eating disorders. The Contract is set out in two elements;
a. delivery of x2 cohorts of x30 trainees per-year for three years on the medical credential
b. development of a multiprofessional eating disorder credential framework, in collaboration with a representative stakeholder group, aligned with the credential outcomes of the medical pathway, in preparation for the future commissioning of higher-level training
i. This credential must align closely with the existing 'medical pathway' credential in level and breadth of competencies for the successful training provider to be awarded a HEE accredited 'eating disorders credential'
ii. This credential will be developed within one year in order to facilitate procurement in NHS financial year 23/24
iii. This work may be carried out in collaboration/ partnership with other agencies as appropriate (e.g. NHS specialist eating disorders services/ clinical professional advisors/ education provider services)
iv. Link to current 'medical' credential to ensure parity of knowledge, skills and competence of practitioners
v. Facilitated to align with HEE credential process leading to HEE accreditation.
