Description

The Council now wishes to commission a Healthwatch East Riding of Yorkshire (HWERY) and Independent Health Complaints Advocacy (IHCA) for the next contract period, with a view to further developing their scope and reach. A strong foundation has been laid and a revised governance structure implemented, which better meets the current and emerging focus for local Healthwatch. It is expected that any new provider will build on these strong foundations and continue to develop HWERY with the drive to be one of the best Healthwatch providers in the country.

IHCA services have also been increasing in size and scope in past years and the Council would like the new provider to address and support clients, identifying trends and opportunities and feeding these into Healthwatch to help shape combined intelligence.
