Description

Information Application Services (IAS) supports the Army Hosting Environment (AHE) which currently hosts around 90 business applications and services for the Army and wider Defence across three security domains (Official, Official-Sensitive and SECRET). This private cloud delivers network, compute and storage capabilities. Elements of the Cisco based core Physical Network that supports the system are approaching End of Life (EoL). While some elements of the system are still in mainstream support, they are based on technology that is no longer economic nor cost effective in terms of scalability, capacity and performance therefore a technological refresh required.
