Description

The MMO (as an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) require an increase in marine surveillance to monitor, control and enforce sustainable fishing practices. The MMO is coordinating an enforcement programme for monitoring, control and surveillance of all sea fishing activity around the coast. In carrying out this regulatory function, the enforcement programme includes the inspection of fishing vessels at sea. The MMO are seeking to develop a framework with an operator or operators to conduct marine surveillance, monitoring and patrol of waters to the EEZ, and to facilitate the boarding of other vessels by the MMO's Marine Enforcement Officers (MEOs) whilst also providing a physical deterrent presence.

The Contracting Authority intends to use an eTendering system in this procurement exercise. Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: suppliers instructions how to express interest in this Tender.

3) Responding to the tender:

- click "My Response" under "PQQ/ITT Details", you can choose to "Create Response" or to "Decline to Respond" (please give a reason if declining),

- you can now use the "Messages" function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification,

- note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the PQQ/ITT,

- There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available).
