Description

PA Housing are going to market for the servicing and the maintenance of its portfolio of lifts. The procurement is broken down in to two lots with the end result of PA Housing appointing two providers delivering the service; a single supplier for Lot 1 and a single supplier for Lot 2. Lot 1 is for London and the South East which has circa 144 blocks comprising of 160 lifts in total with an approximately contract value £190,000.00 per annum inclusive of VAT. Lot 2 is for Midlands which has circa 37 blocks comprising of 39 lifts with an approximate contract value of £40,000.00 per annum inclusive of VAT.

PA Housing is looking for suppliers who will deliver an excellent service, go the extra mile, be socially conscious and will ensure that the portfolio of lifts are maintained to a level that meets LOLER, lift regulations and legislation; whilst minimising down time and reducing day to day repair costs. All this with delivering a service that contributes to the longevity of the lifts.

Suppliers will be resident centric and conscious of the impact a breakdown of a lift can cause to residents.

PA Housing are looking to offer a contract period of three years with the option to extend on an annual basis for a further two years.

To note - The long term programme captures all lifts for PA with all locations and schemes being included. Where new schemes have been added to the portfolio these will be added to the maintenance contract when out of defect periods.
