Description

The aim of this research project is to review the existing economic link conditions in fishing vessel licences and identify and appraise potential alternatives.

Scope
The scope of the project is UK. It will assess the impact and effectiveness of the existing UK economic link conditions, and appraise potential alternative conditions for both the UK and England and assess the potential effects of any variations in economic links conditions across different parts of the UK.

Please note, this project is being delivered separately and independently from the ongoing consultation on a Scottish Government Proposal to Amend the Economic Link Licence Condition.
