Lot 1 - General Security & Enforcement Services
Basildon Borough Council is looking for a company to provide security services for various projects and cases involving illegally occupied sites, buildings and open land. In conjunction with additional partners you will be required to provide security for illegally occupied sites whilst any evictions or removals are being conducted. Lot details are specified in Section D
Lot 2 - Site Clean Up & Clearance Services
Basildon Borough Council is looking for a company to provide cleaning and reclamation services for various projects and cases involving illegally occupied sites, buildings and open land. In conjunction with additional partners you will be required to provide cleaning services for illegally occupied sites once any evictions or removals have been conducted. Lot details are specified in Section D
2.2.The Council is looking for companies that have experience of successfully dealing with the gypsy/traveller community as well as being flexible and able to respond at short notice to challenging situations.
2.3.The clearance services will include clearing, separating debris and rubbish and in some cases bunding sites to prohibit the return of caravans/lorries/mobile homes.
2.4.Previous experience is essential as this is a specialist area requiring more than just security and cleaning; tolerance, empathy and patience are required as well.
BBC is looking for either one company to provide both services or two companies to work together to provide both services.
