Description

NY Property Services Ltd has been commissioned by North Yorkshire County Council as lead consultant for the design of a new Waste Transfer Station and associated infrastructure at Kirby Misperton, Tofts Road, Kirkby Misperton, North Yorkshire, YO17 6BG. NY Property Services Ltd will provide full multi-disciplinary design services for the new site.

The facility is to take predominantly municipal waste from kerbside collections and household waste recycling centres, including a small proportion of commercial waste. Its construction includes a waste transfer station, staff welfare building, RCV and artic parking, car parking and associated highways improvements. The waste transfer station is approximately 1,970m2 GIFA constructed of 4m high concrete push walls with plastisol coated cladding sections, steel roller shutters and a plastisol coated steel roof (14.7m high). The welfare office is approximately 74m2 with plastisol composite panels.

Air intake fans are to be installed on the building for odour control. The development will also include areas of new hardstanding of approximately 5,590m2, underground drainage pump, fire-fighting water supply tank, weighbridge, sprinkler tanks and pump house.

More detailed information will be contained in the ITT documentation, which will subsequently be issued to qualified applicants.

A maximum of 6 suppliers will be shortlisted to ITT stage.
