Description
Central Bedfordshire Council is a social landlord, and a provider of services to support vulnerable people to live independently in their own homes.
The services that we wish to procure are divided into two lots. Prospective providers are invited to tender for one or both lots.
Lot 1 - Community Alarm Monitoring and Response, and Call Handling
Lot 2 -The provision of community alarm equipment and other assistive technology
Help and Support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you through the Tender process. Questions asked together with the response, will be made available to all tenderers to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. If there is anything you are not sure of or need clarification on, please send a correspondence using the 'In-tend' portal tendering system.
Last date for receiving questions on Intend system is 2nd July 2021.
Return of Tender - Completed Tenders and attachments should be submitted electronically, by the due date via our "In-tend" electronic tendering system. Tenders must be uploaded via the "My Return" section of the system. Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered.
Your Tender must be submitted via the In-tend system by no later than 12:00 noon on Monday 12th July Tenders received after that time will be excluded.
It is anticipated that this contract will start 1st September 2021 and be for a term of 3 years (plus the option to extend by up to 1 further year, subject to satisfactory performance and service requirements).
