Scope of work:
OOC HS2 Station Partitions & Ceilings Package (WP12.8) consists of the design for construction and manufacture, supply, installation and assurance of partitions, fire boarding, ceilings, painting and decorating to the HS2 Station areas, the Great Western Main Line/ Conventional Station (GWML) and Shared Accommodation Building (SAB). The scope of this package includes the following:
• Design Development: Prepare the design for construction and manufacture of partitions, fire boarding, ceilings, painting and decorating, including detailed plans, elevations, general arrangements, and fabrication drawings. These drawings should encompass all necessary interface and connection details, structural elements, ancillary elements and products to meet the prescribed performance requirements. Additionally, ensure proper coordination of walls and ceilings with MEPH services, and incorporate firestopping measures for movement joints and cavities to meet the prescribed performance requirements.
• Samples and Prototypes: Provide samples, prototypes, visual mock-ups, and benchmarks as deemed necessary to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Material Supply and Installation: Supply all required materials, labour, supervision, plant, and equipment for the installation of partitions, ceilings, painting and decorating in accordance with the approved design.
• Assurance and Certification: Generate and supply comprehensive assurance documentation for partitions, fire boarding, ceilings, painting and decorative installations, including certifications from F.I.R.A.S accredited installers. This documentation should encompass asset labelling, tagging, and a fire log to ensure compliance with building safety regulations.
• Coordination: Ensure coordination of partitions, fire boarding, ceilings, painting and decorative installations with various substrates, and other finishes to achieve integration within the overall project.
The following optional scope of works may be applied to this package, depending on supply chain capabilities:
• Toilet IPS/ toilet partitions.
• Wall tiling.

By executing the works diligently and adhering to the prescribed specifications, our aim is to deliver a high-quality partitions, ceilings, painting and decorating package that meets the requirements and contributes to the success of the Old Oak Common HS2 Station project.

About the buyer's selection process:
Respondents to this opportunity should be advised that shortlisted applicants will be invited to tender through an external ERP system.

The exact scoring criteria are currently being developed by BBVS, and shortlisted suppliers will be invited to register for the ERP system in due course.

What is clear at this stage is that tenders will be scored competitively across a range of criteria, such as, but not limited to: HSEQ, Commercial, Programme, Methodology (particularly with working in a track environment).
