Description

This project aims to provide the rail industry with consistent quantitative guidelines on shift pattern design and example 'good practice' rosters that can be used as templates or incorporated into educational materials to support fatigue risk management. It sets out to do this by providing definitions and roster examples that are supported by research evidence or by biomathematical modelling using societally accepted thresholds.
