Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is an award notice and this contract has been let. As such please do not send us any expressions of interest.
Southern Home Ownership (a subsidiary of Southern Housing Group Ltd) is seeking to develop 22-44 London Lane, a former industrial site located in the immediate vicinity of London Fields, as a residential mixed tenure scheme. Detailed planning permission was granted in January 2013. The mix for the scheme is: 12no. Market Sale units, 28no. Shared Ownership units, 9no. Social Rented units.
Plans and illustrations of the proposed scheme and an Accommodation Schedule are included within the ITT documents.
The property market in Hackney has seen sustained value growth and high volume transaction levels over the last few years. The Sales & Marketing strategy will need to maximise receipts to take advantage of the strong UK market in this high value location.
The successful Agent will provide the full Sales and Marketing service (including Brand Setting and Sales Management services) for the Market Sale units. The client will use the same brand for the Shared Ownership units and the Agent will be required to support the Group's in house team for the Shared Ownership units. Therefore, some elements will require a shared service for both Market Sale and Shared Ownership, particularly on much of the early stage work including design input and review, marketing and branding, and the sales pricing and release strategies. The Service Description sections below should be assumed to cover both Market Sale and Shared Ownership tenures except where explicitly clarified.
The Group (SHGL) will directly let the Social Rented units in accordance with Local Authority requirements.
The client's intention is to enter a full build contract for the scheme in August 2014 with a start on site shortly thereafter. Build completion is anticipated in summer 2016, therefore a site sales launch is likely to be required late 2015, however as part of the service we will require you to set out a proposed programme from appointment through to final sale completion
