Description
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is looking to overhaul its internal communications systems and is looking to commission an organisation which can provide mature software for a new Intranet, internal mailing system and mobile app for staff. We would like to commission an organisation that, alone or in partnership with others, produce at least two of the three areas. We are keen to commission organisations who have previous experience providing solutions for NHS organisations.
Intranet
We would like to completely redevelop our Trust Intranet which is at present difficult has an ugly design, and is difficult to navigate. The new Trust Intranet should be able to provide key links to important resources, as well as communicate news across the Trust to staff. We would like the Intranet to be easy to maintain and manage, with multiple users across the Trust able to access their specific departments or areas.
Internal Mailing
We are interested in a simple to use system which our Communications team can use to send out emails to staff members. It is important the mailing system is able to provide us detailed analytics as well the ability to send segmented emails to different departments, roles and other areas. We would like the system to be able to directly integrate with our staff records so we do not have to manually add or remove staff members from the mailing list.
Mobile App
We have a large number of staff who do not have email access or do not check their emails regularly. As a result, we would like to develop a mobile app which would provide staff with key information which may be sent out via our internal mailing system or hosted on the Intranet. It is important the app is secure as will be sharing confidential, internal information. Ideally, it should integrate with the other two systems easily.
