Description

NHS Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of a Blended Learning Midwifery Degree Programme - Health Education England.
Health Education England aims to commission Universities to create an innovative, accessible midwifery degree programme that will be available across England for prospective midwifery students. The programme aims to fully exploit innovation in digital and other technologies to provide a fully blended, interactive, and innovative programme that will meet the requirements of the new standards (2019) that the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) has set for pre-registration midwifery programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the creation of a significantly different offer in midwifery education that will support the growth of a qualitatively different expert and professional workforce suited to the demands of 21st Century care and service.

• London Region - Lot 1
• Midlands Region - Lot 2
• East of England Region - Lot 3
• North East and Yorkshire Region - Lot 4
• North West Region - Lot 5
• South East Region - Lot 6
• South West Region - Lot 7

The contract period will be for three years, subject to annual budget review and KPIs, with the option to extend by up to a further two years.

All costs are exclusive of VAT. The Funding is exempt and exclusive of VAT. Which under normal circumstances is not chargeable to HEE.
