Description

Framework for the provision of catering service to primary schools in Hackney.

The Hackney Learning Trust (HLT), following consultation with the schools, has agreed to set up a catering framework for Primary schools in Hackney. The Trust is committed to providing high quality, nutritious catering service to schools that meet the local needs of schools and pupils.

This Specification sets out the nature of the services to be provided. Where quality standards are set out, they are the minimum acceptable level to be achieved on a consistent basis. The Trust is looking for an experienced provider to deliver the catering services to Hackney Primary schools. The framework will have only one provider. There are initially 8 schools in this framework, however, other schools may call off later.

The provision of the service must demonstrate the best value approach and be flexible in its delivery and operation to ensure that the needs and ethos of individual schools are supported.
