Description

Cambridge City Council (CCC) proposes replacing several lost trees along De Freville Avenue and Montague Road in West Chesterton, Cambridge. The intention is to return these connecting residential streets to impressive tree-lined avenues, improving the street scene and the well-being of people, wildlife, and the environment.
Ten new trees are expected to be planted (Refer to Planting Locations Plan). Each tree will be supported by an engineered tree pit constructed from structural soil cells and associated root management components to ensure the new trees will successfully mature in their urban environment.
